The aim of this project was to create a modern concept space for the Geltek professional cosmetics store, designed specifically for placement within a shopping mall.

We began by searching for shapes and forms that would reflect the idea of a perfect cosmetology lab in space. This led to the creation of a concept design for the store that integrates digital technologies and futuristic aesthetics.
To achieve this, we incorporated flowing lines into the furniture to add a sense of softness and futurism. Metallic accents were used to evoke the image of a spaceship. A bold, nearly neon gradient strip serves both to reinforce the cosmic theme and to draw attention to the cosmetics displayed in front of it.
A hexagonal motif with rounded corners—Geltek’s brand symbol—is woven throughout the interior: it appears in the shape of the demonstration table, the cash desk, and the ceiling light above the cashier area. For the ceiling, we chose a grigliato structure with triangular cells, which, when viewed from a distance, form hexagonal patterns.
The storefront features a digital LED screen playing promotional videos for the brand.
We also developed a modular line of retail furniture specifically for this project, including a demo table, cash desk, standard display module, corner unit, left/right end caps, and a module with an integrated demo table. This modular approach allows the concept to adapt to a variety of retail spaces in different mall configurations.
To emphasize the therapeutic nature of the cosmetic products, we chose a light and airy color scheme—white, light gray, and off-white. A vivid gradient strip, transitioning from deep blue to Geltek’s signature violet, provides a striking contrast. This backdrop was designed to make the products pop and to create a strong brand association.
As a visual centerpiece, we installed a bubble fountain in the brand’s signature violet behind the cashier desk, adding movement and drawing attention to the company’s logo.
The store’s lighting is divided into three main zones:
– the demo area with testers
– the product display area for ready-to-purchase items
– the cash desk zone
Additional spotlights illuminate the entrance along the glass storefront.
Above the demo table hangs a custom fixture made of six interlocking hexagons. The light above the cash desk mirrors the desk’s stretched-hexagon shape. The display shelves are backlit with LED lighting behind printed gradient panels to subtly enhance the visual effect.
Overall, we achieved a futuristic high-tech aesthetic that perfectly aligns with the brand’s values—and even its name: Geltek / High-tech. The style comes through in the smooth, rounded furniture forms, the clean color palette (whites and light tones), the satin-finish metal elements, and a bold gradient accent that adds an almost neon pop of color.
